MY FAVORITE GAME EVAR IS Deus Ex

At a time when montonous games like Counter-Strike Unreal Tournament dominated the PC gaming landscape, Deus Ex was a breath of fresh air. Part shooter, part RPG, all badass. Before the likes of Morrowind or Mass Effect Deus Ex was one of the first games to feature a branching storyline that played out depending on player choice. For its time it had an extremely interactive enviornment. you could order soda from a machine, withdraw money from an ATM, order drinks from a bar, and even pick up a newspaper and whack people with it. It had a very engaging storyline about corruption and betrayal and it's one of the few games I've ever played that honestly made me think about how the world runs and operates all the shady deals and power grabs that happen behind the scenes. Not to mention, YOU CAN MAKE IT RAIN GRAVITY DEFYING CATS!

Travis is right. Deus Ex is one of the most overrated of all time, accomplishing nothing that warranted the praise it receives now or back then. PC is better off with tech demos, as it seems to be all they're good for.

Ocarina of Time is undoubtedly the BEST.

Btw, there is a different between favorite and best. You call the title Best and then post your favorite, which is obviously not the best anything.

In regards to Deus Ex: "It has sold more than 1 million copies, as of April 23, 2009"

Mega Man 9 was downloaded more than a million times and that was after a 10 year hiatus.

BEST game EVER?

Well, Ocarina of Time has stood the test of time and always will. Hell, any of us could drop what we're doing and have no problem playing through it again. It never gets old. That's what makes a great game. The ability to just pick it up and play it. No game has that as much as Ocarina of Time.

Now, there are a lot of awesome games out there, and I have a lot of favorites, but nothing beats out Ocarina of Time.
