-Talked to a joe schmoe, told me that the account was on suspension and it would be another 20 days. Told him "FUCK NO, LET ME TALK TO A SUPERVISOR". Now I'm listening to Jazz music on hold.

So the supervisor told me they're pressing felony charges against the guy who stole my account, and I should have it back by the 9th. So basically they're using the gamertag and it's purchase history as evidence. He also told me they'll give me 2 free months of XBL for the trouble. If they'd told me they were pressing charges in the first place I wouldn't have called them 7 damn times.

uhhh why do they need to hold your account to press charges?

that'd be like you reporting your car stolen, the police finding it then keeping it for months as evidence.
