What are some scary ass movies

I tend to avoid gore/shock films, so any scary movie for me would be because of the 'creepy' factor...I'm thinking the scariest movie I've seen would be...smeg I can't think of anything. Guess I don't really watch scary movies at all.

Event Horizon is kinda scary because one of the characters has her eyes gouged out.

Alien is frightening enough.

Johnny Mnemonic scares me because the movie didn't destroy Keanu Reeves's acting career.
