News Epic replies about Gears 2 matchmaking issues

Epic's Ron Fergusson replied to community complaints about the slow (or broken) matchmaking issues, but no fix in sight yet.

Among the suggestions are:

Restarting the search if it takes longer than two minutes, or use a different playlist.
Avoid parties of 1 to 4 people when matchmaking.
Making sure your xbox is reporting your NAT is "open".
And just hosting private matches. (lol?)

Also, Fun Facts!:

Almost 3 million multiplayer matches (excluding Private) have been played.
Almost 1 million screenshot photos have been uploaded to gearsofwar.com
The most popular multiplayer mode is Horde.
The most popular multiplayer map across all modes is River.
The most lethal weapon is the Gnasher shotgun with almost 29% of all kills.
