Is it possible to rip wii games without having a specialized cd drive?

I recently modded my wii, and I am wondering if it is possible to rip games without have a special cd-rom drive built into my computer. Is there any type of software that will specifically allow my wii games to be read?

Most current backup loaders for the wii will also dump games directly to whatever storage device you're using.
