yeaah. See Chris Jolley said he was waiting for it to be atleast 500 dollars. Pretty funny since when it was released it already costed atleast 500 dollars, it costed 599!
It will probably be quite the opposite. Sony has to know that their customers don't have that kind of cash to just throw around, and I would bet that the only people buying the PS3 on launch day will be lunatic fanboys and a few rich bastards. I certainly won't be buying one until the price comes down to at least$300. I'll definitely be getting one for GT5 and future Final Fantasies, but it will be a good while before I get a next-gen system. In fact, I'm probably going to finally buy a GCN for Twilight Princess.
