Yeah, I'm not that impressed. Madden 2006 is better, imo. I mean, there are a lot more cool features in '07, like creating your own player, better achievements, etc. But overall, '06 is better. Like how '06 made most of the players, especially the quarterbacks, look like themselves. Yeah, '07 doesn't have that feature at all. I was playing franchise mode last night and going up againest the Panthers in the first game of the season. Now, we all know Jake Delhomme isn't that big at all. Well, apparently '07 thinks he's some fucking albino gorilla. And they do that with all the players. They all look like fucking tanks. The crowd and stadiums look really good though, I'll say that. But the gameplay and overall player graphics of '07 just looked sloppy, and '06 is better.
But there are are some cool features in '07, like creating your own player. After you get done detailing him up he gets to run all these tests, depending on what postion he is. Like I made my guy a wide reciever, so he ran the 40, saw how much he could bench, and ran a bunch of drills. It's pretty cool. And they put more time into achievements in this game. Like now you can actually level up and get points for it, get points for holding records, etc. Overall it's a good game, but I think pound for pound '06 is better.
