Microsoft Kinect

So this releases in about a week. Most of you have probably made up your minds about whether you are going to buy it or not.

So what's the verdict?

I preordered my copy a week or so ago, mostly because $150 isn't a big deal right now. If I was still living paycheck to paycheck, then things might be different.

Anyways, some of the games interest me because they aren't shooters or rpgs - it will be nice to have a break from those for a change. Unfortunately, it hasn't really been said if the games are fun, so this could go either way.

Speaking of games, there really isn't much coming out for the xbox for a while except this, so that plays a big role as well.

We're thinking of possibly getting it as the family present for Christmas, but if we decide not to I can't see me picking this up any time soon. Of course, that could all change if the right games are announced.
