Here are some pics I took this morning:
He has a butt load of Sunflowers:
Some are so high that I can't even reach the head:
Close up:
Some beans in the center, corn on the left and right:
Here we have cucumbers on the right center, and some real healthy looking corn on the left. Not sure whats flowering in the center, but it could be beans that were planted earlier in the season.
Blurry close up of a watermelon flower:
Nice sized watermelon plant that refuses to flower:
Another shot of some real healthy corn, I cant wait until these bad boys are ready to harvest:
A close up of an ear of corn. This isn't from the healthier corn from the last picture. This corn was planted too early and hasn't matured as well. Still tasty, but it won't be as full.
A shot of the "early corn", we just didn't get enough rain early in the season for this stuff to mature properly. Still decent, though.
My Dad picking some cucumbers for me. I don't really like cucumber, but I don't bother telling him that.
Here we have some scattered beans (mostly to add nitrogen to the soil) and some melons. I can't remember, and can't quite tell from the pic if they are cantelope or watermelon.
Here we have more cantelope (center w/ yellow flowers) and watermelon (right):
Here is a pic of my dad cross pollinating two different types of watermelon:
Here is the asparagus bush. This pic is actually a month or so old. I forgot to take another one this morning.
Some cantelope close ups:
Beanshot:
Carrots:
And finally, my father's tractor:
