It seems slower and bulkier to me than IE. Granted I use Maxthon instead of regular IE. So why is every person swearing by it now. Because IE has so many security holes? I've never been attacked through any security holes, and I don't update my Internet Explorer, except during SP2 installation. Regardless, studies showed that people were finding more holes in Firefox per month than IE.

So someone tell me why the big fuss over this thing. D;\

i think the biggest thing was active x, and microsoft has pretty much fixed that hole now. Also for the tabbed browsing, but doesn't IE do that now, too? I dunno, its been forever since I used it.

EDIT: oh yeah, I also LOVE the plugins you can get. It adds virtually endless customization.

I'm fairly sure Maxthon had tabbed browsing and mouse gestures way before Firefox did, anyway.

I would expect Firefox to have more security holes than IE, considering it's a much younger browser. But, as soon as a hole is found, there's usually a fix pretty quickly afterwards.

Anyway, Firefox rules.
