Theme?

I know this is exactly why we left ZX in the first place, but does anyone else think that a new web title and name would boost the new member count? We usually got at least a new member a week back in ZX. In some ways it wasn't so good (random inactive members), but we had a lot more people posting.

We'd have to think of something people would actually want to post about, like a popular video game or some other super fad. We'd set it up like ZX, except that we still have the entertainment
section. A webcomic would be nice, but non of us are really dedicated or talented enough to create a popular comic regularly.

I suggest a FPSs (Halo/CS/Deus Ex), racing simulators (Grand Tourismo/NFSU), or RPGs (Final Fantasy/Morrowind/KOTOR)forums. I suppose we could make a less specific forum like gaming, but I'm afraid it will turn out like this place. We need to have some kind of foundation instead of "online community".

Why not a combination of the three genres you mentioned? Those seem to be the ones that hold the most interest here, what with the [teh] clan for CS. Travis and I usually are playing some racing game, whether it be LFS or NFSU, and Yoda, Logan, and Kalnaur are really into RPGs.
