Okay, I have a DVD-RAM thats been sitting on my shelf, being quite useless, for some time now. I finally decided to use it, and back up ESPN NHL 2K5. The game is 4.3 GB. On the case of the disc it says its 4.7GB (typical single layered DVD size), but when I try to burn the iso to the DVD, it says insufficient space. Apparently, there is only 4.25 GB of space on the disc. Can anyone help?

windows uses 1024mb = 1 gb. disc manufacturers uses 1000mb = 1 gb. Thus your problem.

Technically, 1 GB = 1024 MB, since computers use binary values. But 1 GB = 1000 MB in physical space, because humans use the metric system (and giga- is equal to 1xE9). All I can tell you is buy another batch of DVD-RAM discs.
