Father passed away Friday. Found out cat has nasal cancer today. But thats enough complaining.

Nice to see ya Joe. Its always good to see the old members and how things are going.

Hey Joe. It's just us three. SAB pops up once in a blue moon. I've tried to get Jay back on, but he just doesn't give a shit.

Got married during COVID in 2020, three cats, and little 1,600 sq ft renovated mill house in a suburb of Greenville. It's a good life.

Hey Dave, good to hear you're doin well.

I was getting all nostalgic about various things the other day and thought about these boards. First signed up for Zelda Glitches in 2002 when I was 13. Now I'm not a million miles off 40. We had a lot of fun times posting and playing Gears and such.

We've had a good run.

Still can't believe I was just looking for help in Wind Waker one day, stumbled on the Deku Boards, and met this crew, with a couple of them literally in the same town as me. We've parlayed that into a lot of good laughs.
 
 
Still blows my mind that Dave found the deku boards. I remember emailing him from chris jolleys fuckin house back in the day cause we were blown away someone from sleasley was on that place.

Nope. Logan and Chris did (they were in the same grade, a year ahead of me), but we just happened to live in the same podunk town by pure coincidence.

If I remember correctly, there was a Deku thread about where everyone lived, and I messaged Logan asking where when he said SC. Shit my pants when he dropped Easley.
 
Internet is a wild thing. Was in Travis' wedding. If Andrew didnt have the hots for my stupid sister in 9th grade, never would have played in him in Mortal Kombat deception (was that the one on xbox dave?) we been friends forever.

Met Dave through zelda site somehow, met Jay through him.

We play games on steam and I see SuperAfroBoy on there and im 99 percent sure its his kid. God hes probably in high school by now?

I remember Joe you were one of the few people I knew who had an xbox 360 near when they came out. lots of geometry wars workin first shitty job at chilis, good times. Hurricane whacked my house and flooded my basement not long ago and I found an old G3 dvd, you introduced me to joe satriani. didnt you grab some chicks boobs at a joe satriani concert?

Hah! Yeah I did. Back in '06 I think. Haven't listened to Satch in a long, long time but maybe I'll fire some up now.

Tell ya what, I do not miss those hurricanes. I never did make it back to Florida in the end (besides a few visits) but it's all good, it all worked out for me here in the UK in the end. I remember those Geometry Wars days - I think I still have Geometry Wars 3 on my PS library, I should give that a whirl.
 
I probably wouldnt have moved to SC if it wasnt for this place/deku boards. good stuff.
