I believe Mario 3 is better because it had a lot more stuff in it. I mean who the fuck would think a leaf would turn you into a raccoon and that you can then fly?!

Not to mention Mario 3 also had that shoe suit, and that's my favorite of all time.

Mario World was good, but Mario 3 set the standard in the first place.

Also my grandma gave me Mario 3. :(

Although that pipe world is a bitch.
 
They're basically the same game.

Still though, SPECIAL world. How fuckin cool was that?
 
And the cape is 300 times better than that god damn raccoon suit.
 
Yeh I suppose, but the raccoon suit made no sense! How could you go from raccoon to flying?! It perplexes me.

That special stage, OHHHH that one where you have to bounce around and there ain't ground for shit. OHHH IT PISSED ME OFF when I was a kid.

Oh man, which one? Was it Tubular? I could NEVER beat it as a kid. I finally did and had my save file where i'd beaten EVERYTHING. Bayli saved over it though lulz. We were just talking about this the other night.

A fine thread. I do remember bayli saving over that. Really upsets me now that I think about it, lot of good memories struggling on them SPECIAL stages at the ol meemsters. RIP
