Due to the quake/tsunami Capcom has delayed the Japanese release of Jill/Shuma Gorath to an unspecified date. No word yet if they plan to release the DLC stateside tomorrow.
They haven't, but I must ask why is this necessary?
I understand the gravity of the situation over there, but Capcom's offices weren't directly effected, so why delay the shit for anyone? What, did I filing cabinet fall on the server tower that held the only piece of DLC code on the planet?
Or did Capcom decide the best way they could show their reverence for the situation was to delay the DLC? I'm sure the people of northern Japan are comforted by the fact that Capcom isn't going let people play as the new characters now that their homes are destroyed. Thanks Capcom, you saved the day!
