Movie: The Dark Knight Rises

day 4: so let me get this straight. from batman begins to the dark knight he was batman for 1 year. then he took an 8 year break and came back for a couple days before retiring. so in total batman's crime fighting career was pretty much a year. what the fuck?
 
Lol not to mention TDKR was supposed to take place over like 6 months, not like they explained that very well anyways.
 
day 5: i wrote this somewhere else so im just gonna copy and paste it

The part where Batman shoots the rubble opening up the whole for the cops to go through. So Batman talks with JGL then hands him a little grenade to throw at the rubble. As soon as he hands him the grenade Batman turns and starts walking away. JGL throws the grenade which does nothing and says a little line that I believe was meant for a little bit of light and comic relief which I thought (note I said thought so this my opinion) was nothing on par with previous series comedic moments such as the Batman/Gordon "We'll take my car" "I brought mine" "I gotta get me one of those" exchange. Then pretty much on cue as soon as that line ends Batman moves the Bat and blows up the rubble. Given the time frame between Batman giving JGL the grenade, him walking back to the Bat, getting in and moving over to blowing up the rubble, Batman must have gone straight to the Bat after having giving him the grenade. So that means Batman knew before giving JGL the grenade that it would have done nothing. So why give it to him? That's not something Batman would do. Then what does he do after blowing it up? He lands the Bat and walks back over to JGL to talk to him some more. What was the whole point of that sequence? To allow for a semi-comical exchange (that in my opinion wasnt all that comical to begin with)?
 
i love me new morning routine. wake up, make coffee, get the paper, post why the dark knight rises sucks. its awesome.

day 6: when i saw them speaking at the end with a giant tarp over something i said to myself "oh please dont tell me theres a batman statue under there." sure enough...
 
day 7: joseph gordon levitt's character. i'll get into specifics later but for now lets just say that if you were to remove his character from the movie completely...the film would be exactly the same. he had no point whatsoever.
 
day 8: the title. not a fan. i kind of understand why it was named like that. but still. too long a name and there are so many other better options available.
 
day 9: so catwoman decides to betray batman so that what? they would let her live? but then she gets stuck on an island so that plan gets blown to shit. she has an attack of conscience and decides to save batman instead. afterwards they run away together and live happily ever after. DID HE FORGOT THAT SHE BETRAYED HIM AND LEFT HIM TO DIE?!?! WHAT THE FUCK?!?! thats almost as bad as spider-man3's "i know i was just a giant sand monster and tried to kill you but im sorry i killed your uncle" "i forgive you. now go free." WTF??!!?!
 
day 10: i'm assuming that bruce wayne's limp in the beginning was caused by whatever injury he sustained at the end of the dark knight. so for 8 years he limped around with a cane. then he wants to be batman again so how does he fix it? he puts on a brace that gives him a robot leg. awesome.
 
I'm still waiting for you to write about the biggest and most obvious "WAT" of the entire movie.

Hint: It's at the end.

I'd hope it would be Batman tuck-and-rolling out of "THE BAT" going about 150 mph 500 feet above the ocean in a heavy suit with bum knees, bad back, etc. and LIVING.

This is of course after he fixed the auto-pilot on a machine before he even knew it existed.
 
I'll give you a couple more days.

Actually, Logan's scenario might be an even bigger WAT, but mine is right there with it.

actually they did make mention of the auto pilot earlier in the movie. but yeah...i never even thought how retarded that was...when the fuck does he get out of his plane?
 
Yeah but the time was off. The technicians said he fixed it before he knew it existed (the bat that is).

It was clearly a fix they made mid production when they decided they didn't know what the fuck they were doing.
 
day 11:

batman is stuck in some prison in the middle of nowhere. then he gets out. great. but he's still broke as fuck and still manages to somehow make it to gotham when no boats or planes are going there and all the bridges are out except one that is being occupied by the military. i mean, i know he's batman but come on.
 
almost forgot

day 12: so joseph gordon levitt's character's name was robin huh? so let's break the stupidity of this down.

1) no robin's name was actually robin. thats retarded.
2) but then again no comic character's name is john blake either. so why not?
3) so there are 2 options to him finding the batcave. either he takes his name sake and becomes robin which is stupid because what's the point of robin's origin without batman or...
4) he becomes the next batman which is also stupid because he has no training whatsoever. bruce wayne was a fricking ninja master. what the fuck can this moron do?
5) its also stupid because the manor is being used as an orphanage. so while john blake is beating off to porn he's watching on the bat computer there are little kids running all over the place right above him. real fucking smart.
