Okay, so, our company has been pushing the IT department like crazy the last few months to try and get us PCI compliant. Morale for everyone was getting pretty low, and several of the guys were on the verge of quitting. So today we had an emergency call with all the IT department, and as a gesture of good faith they are giving everyone (thats like 20 guys) $1500 to spend on electronics for personal use (ie, to take home). I am FUCKING ECSTATIC right now. Right now my list is a 50" TV, a decent stand, a Wii U, and some games.

I'm seriously ready to faint right now.

Looking at these right now

NSMB U
Monster Hunter 3 (WIIU)
Luigi's Mansion 3DS
Paper Mario 3DS
Wiimote+

heh, they asked if i could find the items somewhere other than ebgames, so i found them all at bestbuy but i had to swap the zombiu bundle for just the deluxe, which i'm fine with.

well, the TV i had on my list is now out of stock, so I shuffled it around a bit and was able to get another of the same size and had room for another 3DS game, so i added project x zone. looks interesting, has anyone here tried it yet?

yeah, i hadn't either but i saw it as a featured game on bestbuy and looked it up, seems alright and i couldn't think of anything else.

supposed to finally get an update on our shopping lists this week. the VP of IT wants to review the lists before any purchases are made, and he's getting back from a business trip in india this week.

finally got confirmation that my list was NOT approved. they didn't specify what wasn't approved, but I assume it was the gaming stuff. so now i need to build a new list.
