So I remembered I made this thread. We're more than halfway between 2008 and 2018.

Right now I work a menial corporate job I can't stand, and drink a lot. Eh, could be worse.

Also I made a post saying: "website will be finalfantasy17force.com" - if Final Fantasy 17 is out in 2018 I will pay everybody who replies to this $500. Given that FF15 won't be out until 2015 earliest, probably 2016, I feel like that's a safe bet on my part.
