Okay, finally decided to beat Ganon and move on to FF XVI.

Probably my favorite boss battle of all time. The ending was perfect. As underwhelmed as I was with the final battle and ending of BotW, TotK more than makes up for it.

I finished Ganandorf last week, lots more left to do but probably will never go back to it.

I really enjoyed my time with this game, and it's been years since I've put this much time into a single game. But, I really hope Nintendo is able to do a more focused story in the next Zelda. They either need to figure how to tell a proper story in an open world, or ditch the open world. I wouldn't mind gatekeeping the world behind objects found in dungeons.

The dungeons in totk were absolutely better than botw, but still weak compared to many older Zelda games. Bring back themed, linear dungeons!

Anyway, now I'm playing through Ghost of Tsushima.

Youll never convince me that the master sword "LOSING ITS CHARGE" is not the most hamfisted, retarded thing ever

- Turn on Switch
- Run around aimlessly
- fly in air, see a 100 cool things, 99 are unreachable
- decide for some reason to go down to chasm
- waste 100 arrows, 70 bloom seeds to fight a boss and get like a piece of green gay robot ore
- home button, power, sleep console

This is actually one that has always bugged the shit out of me. Since day one in the 80s they built up the lore of the Master Sword as this omnipotent, unbreakable darkness destroying weapon. Come to find out if you can even manage to get it, it's as useless as a fucking stick for most of the game. Just horse shit writing.

At least let the master sword do like 8 damage when it "breaks" the fact that it disappears mid swipe is retahted

Beat the game last night. BotW and TotK are great games, but id almost like them more if they weren't Zelda games. The divine beasts were actually better than the temples in TotK i think, im with SAB. We need it more twilight princess styled (which is just a souped up OoT) world. A big open world and separate regions. The openness of everything makes the game less personable I think, but thats just bitchin. Was a good game, presentation still meh to me.
