i can probably only swing getting one game this holiday season... but I think it'll likely be far cry 2.
 
This game is my new favorite.

Horde mode is alot better than I thought it would be!

And story is infinitely better than gears 1

So I finished up single player. Pretty good. The plot is a lot more involved than the first one, and A LOT better. Gameplay is better. Cole is annoying more than the first one. Baird is actually worth two shits. Carmine sucks. Dom is still bitching about EVERYTHING and is the WORST partner ever if you're no co-oping. Dizzy is the coolest mother fucker ever. And Tai gets his shit ruined. Awesome game. Normal got pretty damn hard towards the end, so hard and insane mode are gonna be a BITCH. Co-op, plz. I actually played Horde tonight with everyone. First time I tried out multiplayer. Not much was accomplished except a lot of anger. HARD. :( Fun though.
