So I use Trillian, which automatically logs every conversation you have, and stores the log as a standard .txt file. Sometime last year, Trillian apparently stopped logging and deleted all existing logs, but then two days later started up logging again, but saved them in a new location. I thought the old logs were gone forever, but through a random series of button presses and key strokes, I found them! My old logs stopped on August 10th 2007, and were not lost afterall, but instead hidden away in some random hidden folder somewhere in the bowels of Vista. To be honest I sort of wish I hadn't found them, because there's a lot of "I-love-you"ing in there and that makes me
So why the switch, huh Trillian? Why'd you do it? I never told you to record these logs elsewhere. And why didn't you save anything from August 11th?
