why not buy a cable to hook your router to your xbox

I've got plenty of cat5, but I also have a wife that doesn't want a cable running from the basement to our bedroom.

Router is in the basement because that is where the coax feed comes into the house, xbox is upstairs in the bedroom cause that is where we spend the majority of our time.

run that shit up through the OUTSIDE
or get a $30 router that can run dd-wrt and just hook up the xbox to that and adhoc the two routers
OR if u have a laptop, just plug ethernet into it from xbox and internet connection share it
